Who is Michael J. Leonard?

I have always enjoyed taking pictures, but I started taking it seriously in 2006 when I bought my first dSLR. I have held my photographs closely guarded since then, always afraid that my photos would not measure up to scrutiny of others. My wife convinced me to display my work at a recent trade show and ever since then I have been displaying my photographs in a more public setting. I still fear scrutiny, but I am learning to enjoy photography for photography's sake without dwelling on the opinions of others.

I invite you to look at my photos and judge them. Photographers can only grow based on the criticism and praise of others. If I take a photo you don't like, let me know. Tell me why you don't like it. It helps me to refine my skills and to look at the world (and my work) through other eyes. If you love my work, please let me know. It also gives me the drive and energy to keep taking photos and share them with you.

Thank you for taking the time out of your day to stop at my gallery and to look at my work. I appreciate it, and I welcome any feedback you feel like sending my way.
